Licensed Professional Counselor focused on individual therapy and EMDR-informed care
Life guides us in many directions, and I knew from a young age that I wanted to help others. Growing up around many different family dynamics, lifestyles, and communication styles sparked a lasting curiosity about people and the stories that shape how we see ourselves and the world.
I value learning, exploration, and the restorative energy of nature. Music, art, and animals are also meaningful parts of my life. Those interests reflect the warmth, curiosity, and whole-person perspective I bring to counseling.

Why Guiding Waters
Before opening Guiding Waters in 2020, I worked alongside young people, families, couples, and adults across school and county settings. Those experiences reinforced something I continue to believe: people make the most meaningful progress when they feel understood, respected, and involved in shaping their care.
I created Guiding Waters to offer a calm place for that work—a place where difficult experiences can be approached with honesty and care, where questions are welcome, and where therapy can adapt as a person’s needs and goals become clearer.
The Guiding Waters approach
You do not need to arrive with the perfect words or a complete plan. Therapy begins by meeting you where you are.
Your experiences, questions, and priorities guide the conversation.
Care is adapted to your needs instead of forcing you into a standard formula.
Build insight and practical skills you can carry beyond the therapy room.
“Every person has a unique story that shapes how they see themselves and the world around them.”
Care at Guiding Waters is personalized to the individual.
